Abdi-Mayfield Farm is a family-owned regenerative farm raising high-quality meats and produce with a focus on sustainability, ethical animal care, and community well-being. They also process the meat based on Halal practices. Through holistic farming practices and a commitment to nourishing local families, the farm provides healthy food while caring for the land for future generations.
Nicolette Fleming

Aya Farm
Nicolette is a second-year farmer at Big River Farms who grew up gardening with her family and now raises watermelon, hot peppers, greens, and flowers on a quarter acre, selling at farmers markets and donating to The Food Trap — a free fridge serving Black and Indigenous Northside communities. She dreams of owning her own farm to grow culturally specific food, advance food sovereignty, and help others create garden spaces in their communities.
